997 Seat Belt removal/replacement...

I am going to be swapping my belts out (black to red) on my 2008 Turbo and would like any hints/instructions of how the various panels that hide the spool/ratcheting mechanisms come apart from anyone who has tackled this. Thanks!

your best bet is to bring it to a repair shop that knows what they are doing, if done in correctly the air bags could go off!!! The panels are tuff to get out without damage. I have done this to many porsche and can tell you it is not a job for just anyone to do, plus the fault codes need to be cleared after job is done to turn off your airbag light.
