Hello,

Does anyone have detailed instructions on replacing the handbrake on a 997 or a schematic of the center console/brake assembly? My handle on the handbrake actually broke off and I would like to replace it myself.

I replaced my handbrake about a year ago and used this link as a guide for the removal. I understand that removing the shift **** can be tricky so I simply tilted my console forward gently and carefully wedged it there while swapping out the handbrake. The handbrake install was easy.
