lbmw is infamous around these parts
how to replace front trunk strut?
any body replaced their front trunk strut (those two shocks holding the trunk).for a 2001 996tt mine is worn off and stealership is charging me 300 bucks for it.

GREERJ1 is infamous around these parts
They snap in. Go to your local auto parts store and by a set. Take a look at the ends of the shock and rod. You should be able to figure it out.

use a pick and pull the snap ring at the end out a little
