2001 Sunroof Switch (Loose)

2001 Sunroof Switch (Loose)
Has anyone had to replace the sunroof switch?
I went to open the roof (01) C4 and the rear part of the switch pushed in more than normal and is now loose. The roof still opens and closes but the swith is real mushy like something is loose or broken.
I am not sure how to remove the panel that has the switch, overhead lights etc.
