Its my understanding since Autocross is "Timed" that it would be excluded under most standard auto polices. DE's can get by because they are not timed and not competitive. You always have to start by reading the exclusions under your property damage portion of your policy. Also it never hurts to just call the agent and ask. It also never hurts to get that in writing by say an e mail that you can save.
