OK Luis, the following is what I've done in my 993 RS:
Barber Motor Park 1:40:029 C stock record set in qualifying in 2007
Road Atlanta 1:37:035 C stock record set in qualifying in 2007
Mid-Ohio 1:39:278 C stock record set in qualifying in 2007
Daytona 2:09:230 (2006)
Daytona is a horsepower track. The lap record for 06 was 2:06:350 (broke in 07 by Greg Pickrael, friend and co-racer). I believe my car wasn't set up correctly (my fault) but even with better set up, I cannot turn a faster lap than the 996's at Daytona though car is capable of winning.
Barber and Road Atlanta lap times beat the lap times Ithat I set track records in 2006. The Barber should have a big asterik. Nick Johnnson ran a 1:38:1 with me in the car during a practice session. That is why I pay to race and I am not paid to race.
C stock becomes I class in 2008 PCA racing with class changes. I am expecting lap times to drop in all as the 996's become better developed. My partner in Racer's Edge and European Auto Garage, Karl Poeltl, will campaign a 996 in the class this year. Class is getting deeper with some very talented drivers. For really impressive results if you know 944's, check Karl's records at Watkins Glen; Sebring and Mosport.
I would like to move into a 996 Cup Car at some point. I would sell my 993 RS if someone is looking for a fully developed (former Koni Challenge car) car that is an amazing handling car that is obviously competitive.
We're preparing for Sebring in February. I bought my car from Barry Ellis (now races Koni Challenge and a great driver) and he still owns the track record in C in my car. No excuses if I don't at least compete in my class.
