Spec Miata is great if you want to race wheel to wheel....very reliable and easy to drive. If you are looking to do track days, that 100 odd HP will make for a long day on the track with poor drivers in STIs and EVOs that will pull away on the straights, and slow you down in the corners....if you can run with a bunch of other low power momentum cars, it would be my top choice.

 

Miata or S2k. On a tight budget these two stand alone.
