997 Owners: Willow Springs Track Times (Big Track)
Attention 997 Owners:
What are your Willow Springs Track Times??? (Big Track)
I'll start:
997S
Stock
Stock Rubber
I ran a 1:45:15
I know this is slow for my car and I can do better, Im driving at maybe 60-70% (She's too pretty to hurt)
I'm slow in turn 2, 8, & 9.
I know next time I can get to low 1:40's and hopefully 1:39ish.
I want to see what other 997's are doing.

Haven't run the porsche but with my m6 very low 1.38's with pirelli systems. Man the m6 is a boat. Faast as heck on the straights but you can feel the weight of the car in the turns and when braking. Turn 8 is still the one that i can't hit full throttle. 1.45 is a prettty good time with stock tires.
I get so mad when my buddy in his 2008 EVO X puts down 1:38....
but then again his is running:
140 tread tires
4WD
LSD
325 wheel HP
but he also drives the car on the track like its a rental
all excuse because I know I and the car can run better times!
