AutoXDriversSchool April 8th and 9th
AutoX Chesapeake Region Series #1 April 9th 12:30PM
Ripken Stadium Aberdeen, Maryland
Have you ever heard of AutoX? Would you like to learn how to drive your Porsche to it’s full potential? The Chesapeake Region is offering you an opportunity to learn everything you want to know about this exciting sport at our annual AutoXSchool on April 8th and 9th.
Autocrossing will help you discover your car’s capabilities and potential, making you a safer driver on the road and faster at the track. Novices and Hotshoes alike are invited. If you’ve never tried this sport, or if you’ve done it a dozen times, our team of instructors will make you a better, safer and a faster driver.
The classroom portion of the school will begin at 6:30pm Saturday evening April 9th, to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in White Marsh, Maryland (5015 Campbell Blvd.Baltimore, MD21236 410-427-0600). Classroom session will cover the important aspects of the sport from terminology, safety, car set-up and dynamics to advanced driving skills. This class is mandatory for those wishing to participate in the hands-on driving exercises on Sunday. Sunday morning we will fire up our machines at 8am promptly for some exciting and educational hands-on driving exercises that will help you illuminate and hone techniques to become a better driver.
The Driving Exercises will be followed up with a full-scale AutoX at Ripken Stadium in AberdeenMD at 12:30 pm where you can practice your newly learned skills. This AutoX will be the the first in Chesapeake Regions AutoX Point Series.
The cost for this School (including the AutoX) is $75. AutoX only is $35 (club members). Before you think, “I can save $40 by coming out to the AutoX and skipping the school” think about this; the same guys running in the top 5 will continue to be at the top until new drivers commit to learning to be better drivers. Seven years ago 2 of the fastest AutoXers in the Region took this school. Do you aspire to be the best you can? If so, we look forward to seeing you on April 8th.
Pre-Registration is required for School due to limited space.

We had a great event last weekend! Thanks to all participants and helpers.
Here's a link to some great pictures. http://www.pcachs.org/photos_and_mov..._01/index.html
If your in the Maryland, Virginia, Pennslyvannia, Delaware area you might want to check out the future events !
PS -No photos of my car running 'cause the camera man couldn't keep up with me. Just too fast.
Although not quite fast enough to beat Dereks 400hp 993TT.

Hope to get you to come on out to an event. The June event is the 1st annual Chesapeake VS Potomac shootout. It plans to be an exciting event, even thought us Chesapeake guys know who's going to win. Check out the event description at www.pcachs.org.
