Some encourage it.
I second that, going to my second track event in April. This one is sponsored by my dealer!

RonCT - What insurance company do you have? Just curious as mine does not cover any type of HP driving event.

DE Insurance

Try Chris Maume at Snellings Walters Motorsports. They have a history of insuring racers.

RonCT - correct, my insurer also sends me the addendums directly and most certainly the same goes for my buddy. I guess my point was that I would hope any agent, who very well knows his client does DE events, would bring the addendum to his client's attention. My insurance with State Farm also covers all DE events as long as they are not timed or competitive but that too may change with the number of claims on the rise.

My reference to the above DE insurance seems to me, although expensive, a good investment, considering the amount of $$$ we all put in our cars, in case there IS an issue. I would really hate to find out the hard way.
