Did my first AutoX with the new to me TT Saturday.

I have done a lot of those with other rides.

As expected the first gear is little short but the car has torque up the azz once your in the right revs...

Anyway.. Suspension for autox is soft I need suggestions from people that have moded up 996TT's supension please.

Thanks in advance.

Why would you do AX with a 996TT. I would think a DE course would be a more appropriate place to stretch a TT's legs. VIR?

Just curious.

it generally is...that being said, with the right driving style and a decently long course...the TT can be brutally effective...

If your really serious, go with a JRZ/moton suspension with some slicks...haha...youll be Xing with the pros...but...youll hve fun nonetheless...haha

The lowering and Motons are the way to go if you want to go that far. An SCCA nationals GT2 runs around here, and it's a brutally effective setup, though of course compromised for the street.

Biggest bang for the buck would seem to be adjustable swaybars- make the rear especially stiff so you can get it to rotate. I've instucted students in a 997TT, and that's the biggest drawback I saw to the car when the course tightens up.

ya, the more 180s...the more your going to be screaming...so pray is a long course with few quick turn-arounds...
