Stickypod on the windows works great.

An alternative that I've done is I got a helmetcam lipstick-cam type thing and I run that as an aux input to the cam. I can put that thing anywhere I want with just a little velcro or even duck () tape

Are you talking about support for a lipstick type of camera, or for a full camcorder? For a lipstick, you can mount either inside the car or outside. Depending on what you want, I have a couple of suggestions. As for a camcorder, I/O Port and Brey Krause have good rollbar mounting options.
