Helmet advise needed - Arai GP-5W

I have narrowed my helmet search to the Arai GP-5W for autocross.

Any experience with this helmet? Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have the GP-5k which is essentially the same thing with a more narrow eye-port, love it! Very comfy, but as always I'd recommend trying one on first.

I have one that I have used once and am willing to sell it. It is size large and comes with both dark and clear shields.

It is a great helmet but I don't have a car to take the track right now so it is just collecting dust.

Thank you all for the advise, and the offer. I think I need a medium.

I wear a 7-1/8" ballcap (pretty small) and barely squeeze into my medium, for reference. You want it to be snug for sure though.

Don't think. Try it on. Also try as many other sizes, makes and models that you can. Fit is many orders of magnitude more important than anything else in a helmet. That said, I have an Arai GP-5k and love it. Oh, and BTW, get a head an neck restraint device if you have multi-point harnesess.
