So I'm an aspiring 19 kid with a passion for speed.
But I live with a VW family, I mean we have 5 VW Bugs. 61,63,65,64,67 a Rabbit and we MIGHT buy a bus.

SO I somewhat feel obligated to get a VW myself. But I kinda don't want to, then I came up with this awesome Idea. Now don't laugh but, what does everyone think about me converting a Bug into somewhat of an Ariel Atom? Would it even be possible and what exactly would I need to do to make it perform like an Atom?

I'm sorry if some people find this offensive, I really do but I'm a kid who can't afford an Atom and is getting tired of seeing all these BMW's and Lexus's (or is it Lexi?)

Anyways I'm not sure if this is even the right spot for this any input would be great thanks.

There are any number of car kits that use vw bug suspension bits and engines. Pick up a kit car mag and see if any of the ads look appealing to you.

 

vw bugs are really kick in the pants with a subaru motor... I have seen a couple with sti motors and wow! 2200 pounds with 300hp 300 tq is a rocket!
