They're actually not that discolored, it looks a lot worse in the pics. My steering wheel is new and if it weren't for the peeling etc. you wouldn't be able to tell between the two. I think i'm just going to try to fix this, I don't really feel like spending thousands of dollars on carbon as the cost to benefit ratio just isn't there.

Use a 2 part spray epoxy made by a company called select products for the pieces on the dash. It is an instant hold after 30 seconds and it worked great on mine. This is a industrial type of adhesive/epoxy used in the fiberglass/custom audio field. Most shops who make fiberglass boxes will have it.
