2010 GTi need tuning shop on LI

Hey guys my roommate has a 2010 GTi and wants to chip it for an Xmas present for himself. He's already been to all the dealers and they won't touch it because they say it will void the warranty. He WILL NOT void his warranty. Does anyone know of a chip (ecu flash) that will NOT void the warranty and give him good gains. He would like to use a good shop on LI or very close to it?

you gotta be carefull with what you tell the dealer is done to the car, if you have a turbo car and then you go run another 5psi and blow something up and then expect the factory to cover it then your not being realistic, but if you have a good relationship with your service department and things like an exhaust/intake, and then you work your way up you can normally get away with more. I have an M6 with every modd including the ecu and i can openly talk about it with them

all ECU flashes void warranty. but APR and GIAC have an option to have multiple programs so you can go back to stock at a flip of a switch for when you take your car in for service.

There are a couple VW dealerships here in NJ that will flash your car.

I had my R32 (GIAC Engine + DSG) flashed at Jack Daniels in Fair Lawn. Their service department is huge and divided into three sections: VW, Audi and Porsche. They have a Motorsports division located in the Audi area that deals with aftermarket mods for any of the three makers.

The guy that used to run the motorsports division (Alan) is no longer there, I'm not sure who took over for him. It used to be that they'll do any mod you're interested in and promise no warranty hassles as long as they do the work. I have no recent experiences with them so I couldn't tell you if they still operate this way.
