Thought i'd post this here since so many VW tuners are active on these forums. Any one planning any mods for the '11 Cayenne V6? It uses the VR6 engine. Thanks guys!

i was wondering that too. The VR6 is a 3.6L in the cayenne so i doubt its the same. if the config is the same, the SC could bolt up. That's an interesting idea. Any one know?

The VR6 does sound great with just an intake and exhaust , and it's been around long enough with VW that there are many many mods out there for it, solid power pant! we just added a VR6 CC to our stable, and i'm impressed with it!

It sounds great with the OEM P-car exhaust. If i did anyting, i'd be looking for significant power increases....blower or turbo.

lumns, i'm also just in the process, seems like one of the popular mods is to remove the suitcase muffler/resonator thats about in the middle of the car, and replace it with a straight pipe, the sound is supposed to be much improved. Other then that seems like lots of guys are doing all sorts of suspension, from just coils to airbags to coilovers....

all I have done so far is hard wire a radar detector in, and may look into the exhaust mod soon. I doubt i'll do anything in terms of forced induction but that motor has been around for a while and there are lots of mods out there for it. I have heard VR6 golfs with just intakes and it really make it come alive!!

What you looking to do to yours?

Right now - nothing - i'm enjoying being stock for now.

The car that the CC replaces was a MKV GTI - I had gone stage II unitronic, complete eurojet turbo back exhaust, H&R race springs, neuspeed intake, ebc slotted rotors and racing pads.

Unitronic has a ECU map that boosts output to 308hp - im thinking of doing that later but i'm enjoying not having to worry about the dealership giving me a hard time.

This summer - I expect to do an intake and maybe an exhaust.
Next spring - Coilovers

my friend who owns RAI motorsport is doing a big turbo on a 3.6 CC - the page on his site isnt running. but if you google it you'll find pics and posts on forums.

If you have the 3.2 VR6 or 3.6 VR6, there really is only one place to turn for OEM style turbo upgrades...

HPA Motorsports.

My weekend warrior is a 3.2 VR6 Twin Turbo pushing 600 ponies on pump gas. The engine has been flawless for over three years...
