Am I in the right section for Colorado?

We're going to be in Breckenridge in a couple weeks. Any recommendations for stuff to do there? I know to it's probably too early to ski, anything else to do? Restaurants, outdoorsy stuff, etc.... ?

I believe you can ski at A-basin, if you wanted to hit the slopes....

Looks like 18" base with a few inches of new snowfall.

It's at a very high altitude. I remember snowboarding there a few years ago and it was -45 with wind chill. Needless to say I retired to the "lodge" for some hot beverages. Also, A-basin is mostly locals for better or worse...

We just got in a couple hours ago. It's freezing here. When I left FL this morning it was about 80. Not counting the wind chill, it was 26 on the car thermometer a few minutes ago. They said it was 15 last night.

Do you think it's worth even trying to hit the slopes this time of year or will it be cold and disappointing? We saw a couple slopes open on the way in but it looked like it was very icy.
