Oh come on it's not that bad. I lived in Vegas for 18 years before coming up here and I like the change to a small city.

Hey do you happen to know Robert Miller who has a shop there in Carson/Mound City? He builds muscle cars and is building my 68 Camaro.

And the newer muffler shop there by the 50/395 interchange called Cat's/Kat's Muffler or something? That guy is doing some fab work and exhaust for me.

Figured worth asking since it's a pretty small town there.

Ya I can understand that. I mean I look forward to visiting vegas everyyear but there's just too much stuff going on down there. My friends are the same as the so cal people though. They were born in vegas and they will die in vegas.

Yeah Carson is small!!! The name (Robert Miller) sounds familiar, what's the name of the shop? The muffler place ... never heard of it, sure that's the name?

BTW, I'm working on a '73 RS split bumper myself, gotta love old school muscle!

His shop is up in that barren industrial area out way east of the 395, right off that one road that goes up in the hills north? (don't remember what its called) His shop is on Laxalt Dr I remember that. His biz is called Callaway Motorsports but I don't there's any signage. It's just him really and he shares a shop with another dude Johnny who works on street rods mostly.

The muffler place just opened a few months ago. Right next to that casino there off the 395 (west side) on 50. Can't remember names of anything. Ha.

73 split bumper sounds rad. Lotsa old school muscle up in that area. I love it! I am actually going up there in the next couple weeks to check out my Camaro.

well it was ok...it was too slow too small i guess. i mean i moved up to santa maria first then to reno for high school. it's nice to visit and get out of the big city since i still have many friends up there. i want my fiance and our son to see the snow so we're going to try and catch it this winter. it's so unpredictable up there, freezing as hell but no snow yet when you think it would.

LOL .... I just drove by the "muffler" place at lunch today. It's tied in with a small used car lot that's been there for years. A couple of years ago, they got into mechanic work and opened a shop tied in with the car lot. And a few months ago, they re-modeled the building ... I guess that's where the new name came in. I've never delt with them but have heard some "stories" about the car lot!

And ya, lots of muscle up here, especially with HAN so big and all.

So why Carson for your work, I'd think there's lots of quality shops in the bay area???

Reno here...
Anyone going to the AutoExotica thing next Sunday 5/18?
It's at the Starbucks at Damonte Ranch Town Center - Reno
In the Walmart parking lot, you see the Starbucks from Damonte between S Virginia and the freeway.
Last two times weather was not so good, supposed to be great this weekend.
I think it starts at 8AM.
Do a search for "AutoExotica Reno", it'll come up.

I'll be there. Hopefully it will be a great turnout with the weather being as nice as it is.
