- 8AM-8:30AM: NorCal and SoCal caravans leave for SLO. Caravan info will be added closer to the date.

- 12PM: Meet at Santa Rosa Park (Santa Rosa and Oak St)

*Group BBQ area can accommodate up to 100 people
*Parking lot fits about 90 cars compared to just 20 or so for French Park that we used the last couple times

- 4PM-5PM: Head back to Courtyard hotel to check in

- The club has been changed to SLO Brew since we just found out Cielo Cantino closed: SLO Brewing Company. We don't have the buy 1 get 1 bottle hookup here but a bottle of Goose is $215 which is relatively cheap. They have a band there that night so our booth won't be ready till around 10:30 when the DJ music starts.

Guys, with the rain this weekend, I'm looking at postponing this event till Sat Mar 31st. Will know by tomorrow and will update the thread accordingly.

Well we decided to stick with this weekend. Please let me know ASAP if you're still coming. Working on alternate lunch plans right now.

 

Don't forget to take the group photo to submit for the Fikse wheel contest. As of the moment, the leading photo is of 22 6speeders. It appears that your event will easily top that number-no need for the cars to be in the photo...good luck and have a good time!

 

What contest is that Don? Then again, not all of the people going are on 6speed.

 

NORCAL CARAVAN INFO:
As with previous SLO trips, we'll be meeting at Starbucks off of the Bernal Exit of 101 in South San Jose at 7:30AM on Sat morning and leaving by 8AM SHARP. It's about 178 miles from Starbucks to Marriott Courtyard in SLO so we should get there in about 3 hours which includes 1 stop midway and also accounting for the rain.

SOCAL CARAVAN INFO:
Here is the map for the Socal caravan. We'll meet up at Balboa Park in Encino at 8am and leave at 8:30am. It's a 167 mile drive to SLO so with a gas refill stop in Santana Barbara, it'll take us roughly 3 - 3.5 hrs to get to the Marriott. We'll take 101 North all the way.
