19's or 20's for a 997... need advice
I am on the fence...
I like the 20's but am concerned about the ride quality
as well as bending a rim.
Any advice is greatly apprecated!

I were in your shoes for a while, but I finally pulled the trigger and when with the 20s instead of 19s. The 20s will fit the wheel gap much cleaner then 19s. But the tires are thinner so you need to watch out for potholes. From feedback I got from members the 20s and 19s ride quality are similar.
I did 20's on a 997S and the ride was still pretty good, looked awesome. Watch out for big cracks/potholes, those will make your spine tingle!
I think everyone with a nice car/truck should watch for potholes all the time, so you shouldnt have a problem putting aftermarkets on.
