Their official release date is Nov 1st, just a little over a week away. I know they have different offsets available for wide body and narrow body cars. As for price, I'm in the dark on that one. I'm hoping for a good price so I can pick up a set of them.

David,
Do you think Fikse could do a better deal if both you and I ordered a set at the same time? Maybe we could get a groupbuy going?

I'm a fan of Fikse - I run centre locks on the race car and they stand up better than the original BBS which were subject to cracking

I spoke with a fikse dealer; the retail on them is well over 1K a rim, it seems like they are priced more than the equivalently sized 3-piece FM/10.

Sorry I didn't write things down, so I have nothing exact, but it gives you a ballpark for the pricing.

Wheels have officially been released.

http://fikse.com/news.html

http://fikse.com/chroma.html

Fikse doesn't make a 19" FM10. 19" has only been available in the Profil series. Not sure if that is what you were quoted.

The Fikse direct pricing for the new Chroma series is:
8.5 x 19 $1195
11.0 x 19 $1395

The comparable Profil 19" from Fikse is:
8.5 x 19 $1198
11.0 x 19 $1360

So the new Chroma series is more, but only $64 more for a set of four. Not a big difference when you are buying wheels such as this. Plus with the new wheel you get a full 1-piece forged wheel that can stand the abuse of harsh street driving.

Man I wish these would fit on my car! When I saw them in person on your car my jaw hit the floor. Quality and performance of Fikse and now the look. I have waited so long to find a set of wheels I like for my car.....Great now I may have to call and see if they can get a set made for my car. Thanks for spending my money.

I love spending other people's money.

I'm gonna look and see if I can find any better pictures of them on my car, but for now, here are the pictures from the Fikse site.

Tell Fikse to get their butts in gear! When my new Turbo comes in I want it to match my '87 perfectly

Fikses

Great looking wheels on your 993TT. They look just like the 3 piece FM10's I have on my 85.

Wow, beautiful, but where did you ever come up with the 305/19s. Thought they were out of stock everywhere . . . Makes me nervous about a 19x11 (seems 315s are available for the 19x 11.5)

The modular wheels are pretty special and you can repair them for about half the price of a new one. I have had FM5's on my BMW and have repaired all of them for one reason or another. If the modular are available at a comparable price, what is the advantage of these? Should be lighter, though, but by how much?
