Latest 1-piece from Fikse
Latest 1-piece from Fikse
I had the pleasure of testing out the latest new wheel from Fikse today. It's a 1-piece forged wheel that was designed for the 997, 996, and even worked on my 993TT.
The Seattle 6speed crew took a drive up the back side of Mt St Helens today. I definitely put these wheels through the ultimate test. Some of the roads were not in the greatest condition. We even had 1 guy bend a wheel on the way back down. These new wheels stood up to everything that was thrown at them.
I can't wait until these are released. I think I will have to pick a set of these up just for our 6speed drives. Lightweight and strong is the way to go for our drives.
This picture should keep you guessing.

They are standard Porsche fitment. From my understanding, these particular new wheels are Porsche only once they become available. They have many other wheels that would probably work on your car.
What diameters are they?
They remind me alot of the FM10s I used to have but 1 piece instead of 3. They were very light and strong wheels. Do you have weights for the sizes you mentioned?

From my understading, the weight is close to their existing wheels. I don't have any exact specs for that. I would think that they would be a little lighter since they don't have all the hardware holding a 3-piece wheel together.
Their official release date is Nov 1st, just a little over a week away. I know they have different offsets available for wide body and narrow body cars. As for price, I'm in the dark on that one. I'm hoping for a good price so I can pick up a set of them.
