Wheel "List" Prices?
Wheel "Invoice" Prices?
So what is the mark up- in general terms, or specifically- on wheels?
For the most part, manufacturers only allow msrp to be advertised.... I've gotten quotes at 5-14% off msrp.
But what is the real margin? What is "invoice"? 60% of MSRP?
Given that wheels are such a popular item with broad distribution, they are probably not as limited as other Porsche upgrades- and the margins are probably more 'universal'. At least that's my thinking.
Any inside info

I think that "turns" on who and where they are made!
I would guess 30%-40% but I can tell you from prior experience that the products liability insurance is very, very high!
The Chinese made wheels seem to offer considerable margin but the question is always quality.
So as with general aviation airplanes today, a major portion of the sales price is the manufacturer's liability insurance.
