The wheels are in fact full CF. I asked Weds if they had plans to produce the wheel in any volume and they said not at this time, until the wheels can be engineered to handle more stress.

I also read the same thing about the wheel not going into production

A rim as this would have serious questions regarding its structural integrety. The weight of 3.0 kg (6.6 lbs) is kind of ridiculuos.

I would never trust it at over 150 mph. Not only the speeds but the track stresses.
This is just "eye candy" but not realistic.
