I need help or any suggestions . I am looking for a good r compound tire that I can autocross with and maybe take it to the track twice a year and still be able to drive to the events. I boiled it down to these two tires anyone have any experience with either one or if there are any suggestions on other tires I would appreciate it.

 

Both great tirs and will do exactly what you want. I have run R888's but not the Nitto NT01. However pleanty of my track buddy's have run the NT01's and they lasted and worked out great. Some like the NT01 better becausr they claim the rubber compound is more like the old Toyo RA1 and the NT01 are less expensive.

 

thanks, thats makes it easier to make a decision the nitto NT1 with the lower price seems the way to go.

 

Yeah, I am thinkign that way too if I get 18's again. I track with guys that use NT01's and they are just as fast as the R888 guys...all in the same type of cars. For a DE the NT01's are great.
