regular PS2's vs PS2 N1's

what's the difference? perhaps compound or tread pattern?

I found a decent deal on standard PS2's but just want to make sure I'm not missing anything before purchasing

actually they are up to N3 now...the N2 compounds are Porsche approved and tested...the non "N" designated PS2's are not...if they are N1's you had better check the date on them cuz they are more than 5 years old

Thanks for the input. The tirerack site still says N1. maybe they just haven't updated their site...

I'm sure it's a good thing that it's porsche approved, but will I notice a difference between the two on the street?

FYI the tirerack site says N3 for the PS2's. I know this I just ordered another set this morning.

on their site right now. It depends on the tire size you're trying to order. for 295/30/19 it still says N1. For other sizes it says N3.
