HRE Wheels -- A New Finish and Twins!

Hello Everyone,

As we enter into 2010, I wanted to share some of the new happenings here at HRE.

After numerous attempts to find a tinted clear coat that met HRE's strict finish quality standards, we have finally found it. I know the pictures aren't perfect, but we wanted to get some shots prior to these wheels being shipped. This finish will be a standard HRE finish offered at no additional charge.

In addition the our new finish I would like to introduce you to the new twins, or as we like to call them, R2 D2. Our two new vertical lathes. We purchased and received these two lathes just prior to the end of 2009. These lathes will provide greater flexibility and increased production capabilities for our forged Monoblok lines.

If anyone has any questions or would like to schedule a time to come see the HRE facility, please give me a ring or shoot me an email any time.

I'm working on it I just picked up a new 2010 in United Grey. Was going back and forth on finish, but this made it easy. I will post it as soon as it's done

Yes it is a powder coat so you get durability and a beautiful finish.

The machines are pretty awesome. They look like one machine and are actually controlled by a single control unit, but they do operate completely independent from one another.

Hello Guy, I recently purchased a set of your P43 in brushed for my 07 turbo. What a work of art, I really hated to mount them on my car instead of my garage wall. Thanks for a great looking product!

What is the finish called - titanium clear coat? Is it meant to be a black chrome type look?

I was the one who requested that HRE develop the tinted clearcoat. It came out awesome! Here are those wheels on my car:

HRE P41 Monoblok
20x9.0 front with 255 wide Nitto 555 tire
20x9.5 rear with 285 wide Nitto 555 tire

Here is how it will look when I install my D3 springs, probably this week.
