Help needed.

Hi all,
to begin with, I would like to say, I am so disappointed with Porsche technician.
Its should be fairly simple question for them, as the wheel i am thinking of is an OEM porsche 18" carrera rim, however, I phone 3 dealership and none of them can be 100% confident with their answers. Those are the guys we are paying $150+ to fix our cars. sign!

Anyways ,here is question i posed to them and I hope someone on the board can provide me with an for sure answer. thanks for the help.

I have a 09 C2S, with standard carrera type 2 rim. i am looking for a winter/maybe track set up, so i thought of OEM 18" carrera rim due to my limited budget. Would they fit on my C2S?

my offset is 57/67
18" carrera 's offer is 57/60.

here is the rim i have

here is the rim i am interested in,

any thoughts?

Remember that technicians are expert diagnosers and part replacers, not engineers, I'm not surprised that they don't know wheel offset.

I would ask more importanyl if the 18's will clear the calipers, you can always use a 7mm spacer to make the offset right

well, that is another version of my question, but they wouldn't know.

Hi there, actually using a 7mm spacer in your case will not help it will make it more agressive. You should have no problems direct bolt-on. Factory 18" & 19" are found on your vehicle so you should be fine there too. If you are at all intereested in a Winter package Id be happy to assist, we offer complete packages and TPMS equipment in stock for all of you driving needs.

A package as seen below using Pirelli snow and TPMS equipment installed and shipped to your door can be had for around $3249

I am not too worry about the bolt pattern or offset, its the brake clearance I am worrying about.
