Angry freshly rebuilt wheel leaking

Couple months ago I had a blowout on the freeway after the rear fender cut into the sidewall on a bad dip. I ended up buying a brand new PS2 tire but the wheel would not hold air after a couple days. I ended up sending the wheel to HRE for repair as well as the others to have all of them refinished in satin black. I got my 445Rs back from HRE this week and mounted them on the car Saturday afternoon. I went into the garage today to grab something and noticed that rear tire was flat again. I won't be able to call Vince until Tuesday, but wanted to see if anyone has ever had a problem like this with a new rebuilt wheel? Like I mentioned earlier, the PS2 tire is practically new and I took them to a place that mounts 3 piece wheels all the time so I doubt they messed up on the mounting. Looking at my repair bill, it looks like they only replaced all the outers barrels. I know they check the run outs when the wheels are brought in, but if a wheel is not holding air, wouldn't the inner barrel be replaced as well?

I thought quality of new wheel is not good that's why it get flat or otherwise change the garage from where you service your car.

HRE should have checked the seal of the wheels when they were fixing them - I would take the wheel back to the shop that mounted the tire, and see if they would take the tire off, check for cracks and then re-mount. If it looses air again, contact HRE to see if they will rebuild the wheel again.

Turned out to be the new tire. There were leaks at the bead section so I had the tire shop clean up the tire and everything was all good.

I just ran across your post. I had the same thing happen to me and also a right rear. Any chance your tire store used a thick vasoline looking lube to install the tire??? Mine did. My theory is since this is the drive wheel the first time you put some torque on it it slips on the bead causing a possible leak and seal failure.
