Bought some new CCW wheels
I had to cut the dust caps back about 3mm to fit under the center caps. Not a problem after that.
I sent them one of my original center caps, so they machined the wheel to accept them like factory. The fit was perfect as far as the caps.
John at CCW didn't agree with my sizes and offsets for the fronts as I had specified, but I had some good info on what would work and all is fine. I am the only 928 with stock fenders running a 265 front tire with no rubbing.
It will be interesting to see what they change after doing more R&D...

Cool! Keep us posted about that, I should just call them and talk to john. The wheels have been perfect so far.
I really just wanted to post about a good experience dealing with CCW: a somewhat unique product (forged 1 piece wheels) at a good price and good to deal with as well. There are way more horror stories out there about other wheel companies.

If you click the link to your thumbnail, then get the host address, you can post the whole pic. All you have to do is click the pic of the mountain on the tool bar, paste in the pic host address, and you have this:
P.S. about the exhaust: It is loud. X pipe, no cats, no rear muffler and GT resonators. I have a GT rear muffler to swap to when the woman comes along on a trip. Fun though.
I talked to John at CCW, and the changes they are making to the C10 wheel have to do with subtle changes that are needed to add strength for GT3 rear wheels. The GT3 puts huge stresses on the rear wheels combined with very little tire sidewall to damp the stress also.
The "1.0" version is still stronger than it needs to be but the "2.0" later version will be GT3 proof.
Just FYI, again smart guys down there with excellent stuff.
