5 min one person job. you can easily adjust the positioning (to an extent) without any help.

this is the side view of the vent after it's out. see the 2 black metal pieces with gray felt material? it goes through so when you pull on the tabs on the other side, it retract a little. that's all that is holding the vent in-spring loaded.

difficult to see in phone pic. the neon bead cord is nicer in person. the dark red i had earlier was too dark. the yellow is bonded polyester-very easy to work with and i bet the color would last longer.
