Even Bugatti’s teasers are classy. For a car that’s inaccessible for the majority of the planet, they sure do know how to make us want it. The supercar boutique released this teaser to remind us that they aren’t quite done with creating beautiful/luxurious vehicles, and unlike some other teasers, we get a good look at the concept.
Lime green is normally a color reserved for obnoxiously self conscious supercars (I’m looking at you Lamborghini), which might be why they’ve decided to dress the new Cayenne GTS in a radioactive haze. With 420 hp and zero to 60 time of 5.4 seconds, the king of sporty SUVS definitely has enough heat to back up that outrageous paint job.
As much as we’d love to love Lamborghini’s latest, we just can’t. If Lamborghini patterns it’s lineage of cars after fighting bulls, then “The Urus” should be renamed “The Cow.” The look is unfortunate, at best. If someone decided to donkify the Aventador, it would probably look a little like this. And it’s a shame.
While speed limits are encroaching on more of Germany’s storied highway system, there are still streches where drivers can go full afterburner. Check out these awesome videos of Porsches going for broke.
On April 16, Jason Schultz was test driving a Lamborghini Aventador in Orange County, California. As Lamborghinis are prone to do, it caught fire and burned to the ground. No real surprise there. But the ensuing photo he took of himself, awkwardly posed in front of the ruined supercar made him famous—or at least internet famous.
Ferrari’s outgoing GT isn’t leaving the scene without a final goodbye from the folks at Vorsteiner. They say their kit takes the 599 a step away from a sports car and moves it closer to a race car. Whether they accomplish all of that is up for debate, but they do manage to cut down on weight by about 70% on the outgoing parts.
OK, I have to admit that when I heard the words “Stance Works” and “Ferrari” in the same sentence, I was apprehensive. When I heard the subject of the shoot was a 458? Despondent. I figured I’d see this glorious driver’s car sporting a crippling offset and rendered utterly useless. But sometimes it’s nice to be wrong.
