The Corvette and the Porsche might both be world-class sports cars, but the engineers who designed them couldn’t have attacked the problem more differently. One the one hand, we have a pure expression of American grunt. One the other, there’s a manifestation of German precision. As Angus Mackenzie says at the beginning of this clip, these machines appeal to guys at the polar opposite of the sports car spectrum.

X Games gold medalist, freestyle, and alpine ski super-star Jon Olsson, is responsible for this slab of obsidian hotness. If it looks a little bit different from your average german V10 super-car, it should. Olsson handed his R8 over to German tuning house PPI, where they (probably) performed unspeakable acts under the cover of darkness.

The Atom and the M 600 are odd. Most people are already aware of the Atom thanks to it’s outlandish looks, but fewer are aware of the terrifyingly fast 500 hp v8 model. The Nobel, while less famous, is equally as strange. It’s a kit car with almost no features aside from it’s twin-turbo Yamaha V8 and it’s staggering stats.

Even Bugatti’s teasers are classy. For a car that’s inaccessible for the majority of the planet, they sure do know how to make us want it. The supercar boutique released this teaser to remind us that they aren’t quite done with creating beautiful/luxurious vehicles, and unlike some other teasers, we get a good look at the concept.

Lime green is normally a color reserved for obnoxiously self conscious supercars (I’m looking at you Lamborghini), which might be why they’ve decided to dress the new Cayenne GTS in a radioactive haze. With 420 hp and zero to 60 time of 5.4 seconds, the king of sporty SUVS definitely has enough heat to back up that outrageous paint job.

As much as we’d love to love Lamborghini’s latest, we just can’t. If Lamborghini patterns it’s lineage of cars after fighting bulls, then “The Urus” should be renamed “The Cow.” The look is unfortunate, at best. If someone decided to donkify the Aventador, it would probably look a little like this. And it’s a shame.
