If this combo has been done on the 997, I've never seen it. Gray on bronze wheels
Since I can never leave well enough alone, I decided to try something out with plastidip. I sprayed the bronze metalizer over my black wheels. I'm actually really happy with the result and am planning on having them powdercoated for a more permanent solution.
It's unique for sure but without being loud. I think it really complements the interior color as well.
People are welcome to post their opinions (they always do), though I don't really care one way or the other. I like it.

in my opinion it looks good. not great but good. what would make it look great? Less gloss. not matte, but maybe a satin finish to work better with the gray.
edit: actually it looks to have a satin type finish. the last pic throws it off a bit. it looks really nice in the other pics.... it doesnt draw my eyes immediately to the wheels (thats a good thing).
