Scheduled maintnance

My car is approaching 7 yrs..and even though it only had 10k on the odometer ..it is getting up there in years....besides the common oil and break fluid change ...what are the years Behind tranny ...diff...coolant?am I closing in on time or should I hit them at the 10 year mark....belts look like there brand new but should they be changed even tho my car is garaged kept.would like to hear thoughts ...thanks in advance....john

Serpentine belt, front differential fluid and fuel filter.

The heck is "front transmission fluid"? When did we get multiple transmissions?

Do you mean diff?

Tip trans needs transmission oil and fluid (I guess gearbox and torque converter). Could be that?

I think DRSULLIVAN was referring to the front differential fluid. If you want to catch them all...You could hit the Transmission (Tiptronic?), the clutch fluid for AWD system, and the front differential as DRSULLIVAN indicates here.

With age being primary, and low mileage I would look at exposed rubber/plastic parts such as hoses and bushings as the most likely items to potentially fail from normal dry rot or exposure to the elements, as well as reduction in pliability.

From your description, sounds like you take good care of the car and will likely have no issues.

in manual cars tranny fluid is same fill as rear diff fluid.

mines a 09 too with 8k miles, I was planning on doing the 10k mile service, but couple of the people that I spoke too said an oil change and a brake fluid change was all that's needed?? I guess not.. hahah
