Drivetrain Reinforcement Project GT, DSS, CMS, ERP

My car made some good power last month using ProEFI, AMS, IPD, SRM hardware and tuned by Garth@Undercover. I wanted to run some good times in at the track but didn't want to make the same mistakes I did with SpoolBus where I basically broke everything before upgrading it.

Drew@Undercover pulled my transmission out and I took it up to Tim in NY where we shimmed and swapped in the Guards 40/60 GT2 PRO limited slip differential and the CMS billet side cover. Both pieces are beautiful !

My latest revision ERP Triple Carbon disc clutch arrived as well. Some changes include additional ears on the floaters and it is now rated at 1400tq vs 1200tq it was rated it before. Car went back on the lift today and is coming back together. I kept the stock hydraulic assist for now just to see how well it will work with a triple disk.

Proactive rather than reactive mod process makes for more good times in the end and less time chatting with the tow truck guy

yeah me too. garth just got my friends blue 997TT up and running and the ERP in it feels amazing. it is fairly new but not the same version i got.

thats the goal.... i think the car got what it takes power and drivetrain wise. the shift to 5th gear is a PITA tho and will def mess with ETs

as crazy as it sounds it's a very unsuspecting car. it is quiet ( until straight pipes open at 10psi), looks stock on the outside except wheels and inside the car is all stock.

spoolbus is a completely different animal. its much lighter, much louder, much more raw (996 vs 997), much more wild (RWD).

the 997 just works better, its easier to make power with. with the right tweaks it puts the power down much more efficiently.

i been 9.80s @ 155 in spoolbus on the street (vbox) but never got a 9 second slip at the track yet...
