It's there dragging below 2000rpm in gear or at low idle. Some are more tolerant than others so like exhaust drone it's subjective. But not an "upgrade" in all cases you know. The car rev's quicker but no matter what Porsche and there manufacturers don't run it on all models for a reason. Daily driving, rolling up to valet, parking in tight spots, reversing and going up hill it takes some tolerance. But for sure the newer set-up is as quest as it's been.

Ac adds load which causes more gear lash....to be honest unless it's really humid and hot I love driving with sun open and Windows down...there have been some rattle areas at stop lights .....which A......I step on clutch for a few seconds for light to turn green....or B.....step on gas sometimes that helps in resetting gears to proper order...

Valet never drives my car and a good manual driver should be able to make adjustments on how to drive.....got to admit it throw....it's all worth it...love that mod....just my 1 cent opinion...

Also....just to give you guys some performance diff..I've raced about 15 cars....not going to say I've won all of them...but the big difference is 100% the take off speed...I'm jumping every car I race almost 1 full car length on the hit...this past Sunday at slipstream racing event...I raced a 2010 with similar mods except for some minor bolt ones...pulled up to the cones running a 1st gear pull..we took off pretty even and by the time my foot touched the floor the car just explodes ...in a good way...really hard to catch some one when you get one car lead all the time.....this is not my daily driver...

Agreed and my cars always get a LWFW. It's just not for everyone you know or Porsche would do it on all cars.

That's why people need to do massive research before installing....his car with sport button on and ac off should have zero to very very slight chatter....ac on on hot day yea there's some chatter....I freakin love it...

appreciate it.

I daily my car...so I have been researching this. I have been told the EVOMS pully shaves some weight off the crank and has some effect to the LWFW without the chatter. Obviously not fully as if you did go LWFW...but a good compromise on a daily car.

encouraging thread here.

I'm going to check which parts were used on my car.

I have lots of chatter with and without AC on. And still occasional stalling when car is warming up and comes to a roll.

What exactly about a LWFW causes the engine to stall?

You need a tune that takes a lwfw into account in order to make it work seamlessly. My car has a lwfw, a lightweight RSR crank, and a lightweight pulley. It drives just like stock yet revs like crazy.
