The rear suspension ditches the 3 link and replaces it with a Torque Arm and Watts link, along with coilovers, lower control arms, and sway bar. The front suspension is completely re engineered into a SLA setup including custom modular drop spindles and a tubular engine cradle, fully adjustable control arms and all that good stuff.
The car went from being bone stock (suspension) to the most radical setup you could ever imagine. Let me not forget that it's not pushing stock power anymore either. The stock blower has already been swapped out for a Kenne Bell and it now makes over 600rwhp.
I had the pleasure of driving this car today and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations and absolutely blew my mind. Running 305/35/18 Toyo RA-1's on the street daily surely doesnt hurt, but this car is absolutely amazing in every way.
Anyways, here are some pics of the build up, new parts, and finished product. Enjoy...

i believe thats the full road race set up which ups the price.
these prices include both the full front and rear kits. all three will give you brand new reengineered fully adjustable suspension under the s197 mustang.
street set up - $8788.9
track performance $9698.75
road race - $13621.9
i should add the makers of this mustang are expecting around a 2.05 lap time on the 3.27 mile course at vir when they test.
also by changing the suspension brakes and wheels this car dropped 294 pounds.

griggs does not even look at the stance. thier shop is at infineon raceway and it still took them almost 2 years to come out with this suspension. everything they do is for peformance, just check thier cars they race on the american iron series!
this a qoute from mustang gt owner with the full new griggs suspension.
watts link is coming.... i can say the gr40sla is bada$$... i got to pick my car up in Nov. at buttonwillow for the svtoa event.... drove it on the track and had a blast... there where a few guys that came up to us and asked what the car had in it as far as motor work.... i asked why... they replied we cant catch you... i told them the motor is stock... its the new gr40sla from griggs... there jaws dropped.... they had anywhere from 75 to 150 or more hps then i and still could not keep up... this car is incredible... point and go.... that's it

Looks good and drops almost 300lbs. Nice. How is the ride on the street? I ask cuz a GT500 might be in my near future (that or a Z06).

with that drop the ride will be rough its set up for the track but it will be fast!
the nice thing is that the suspension is on 4 adjustable koni coilovers. with the griggs suspension you can actually drop the car with losing any suspension travel. i have ridden in a 01 cobra(with live axle swap) full griggs coil over set up and the ride was softer than my stock 03 mach 1 set up. they also took my around a 360 degree highway offramp(35mph posted) near 100mph with no tire squeel. scare...i mean impressed the hell out of me!

Oh my. It is amazing that the car was able to drop 300 lbs just from brakes, wheels and suspension. I'm sure that there's a night and day difference in handling.
Man, that would be a fun toy!

specifics on gt500 weight and these mods...
a fully optioned 2007 gt500 weighs in at 3900lbs fully gassed.
a no option 2007 gt500 weighs in a little under 3850 fully gassed.
as said before the options above took off 294 lbs from that specific gt500.
the other hundred pounds lost is assumed to come directly from the brand new reengineered suspension components.
with this package on a no option gt500 expect the weight of the full gassed gt500 to be in the neighborhood of 3600. the fully optioned gt500 would be 50-100lbs heavier.
for 70k otd you could possibly have this set up on your gt500 that weighs less than 3600lbs and puts down 550-600rwhp with very little trouble!

pas gt500 update 10-17
at vir the gt500 had cooling issues. in just 2 laps the mustang was pulling timing like crazy, there just was not enough air to keep temps down. power loss was huge. currently the car is being prepped for sema and cooling/breathing issues are being worked out. pas will be back at vir mid nov!
some stats on this (edit - 3892lb) gt500.
60-0 96ft
80-0 155ft
pulled 1.27g on the street with ra-1's!

an actual fully optioned stock gt500 weighed in at 3910 on a four corner scale with a filled tank. so you can see that this car was almost 300lbs heavier than stock. also a base gt500 weighs in the neighborhood of 3850 with full fuel. the mach 1000 audio system option weights in between 50 and 70lbs!
