db9 parking sensors not working
db9 parking sensors not working
front and back sensors dont work anymore, the button flashes and I get a beep but non of them work and non of them click. Does this mean the parking sensor module will need replacing?

Just getting back on to trying to fix this problem after eventually fixing the roof. I have replaced the front speaker but again I still dont get any sound coming from the front, just a long beep from the rear speaker when I turn the car on. I have read a few people saying to put ignition on and select reverse and check sensors but as mine is an auto I have listened for clicking sensors with the engine running and in gear and cant hear anything..
Does anyone have any ideas what I could try next?

I had a similar issue. My mechanic said the issue is usually caused by the front speaker failure, but it could also be one of the other speakers. He said he could run diagnostics to find the fault and identify the faulty speaker, but that would cost a few hundred bucks. He said he could also just replace the front speaker for about $50. Mine was resolved by replacing the front passenger speaker - your issue may be caused by one of the others.
This is from owner manual P5.17
“if the system has a fault, a single 3 second code will be heard and the assist button will blink when reverse is selected.”
