I might get flamed for this, but it doesn't actually look all that bad from the front. Might even fool a few people. It's from the side and back views where things start to go wrong. I've gotta commend the guy that did this though, it looks like he put in a TON of work. Still, given how much he probably spent, he's close to halfway there to get a real R8 I'm sure.

The biggest problem I notice from the side is the Fiero based Replica actually looks a little more "balanced". Ever since Clarkson noted how the cab just looks too far forward in the real R8 I just can't get past it...
That being said... of course the Replica still just seems silly to me. He obviously put a ton of effort into this, not to mention loads of $$... surely he could have built a respectable real car of some sort with the same time and effort and not be embarrassed everytime some says, "Hey...thats not right..." AND had performance to go along with the looks.

got to gve applause for usng original parts, they don't come cheap! I agree with Ijeremy though, the distance between the door and the rear wheel on the real car always looked a bit long.

that is awesome! tons of time and effort, and it does actually look decent from the front.... Audi PR look at this for the new RS5 cues haha just a joke. but still, that is the craziest thing I've seen in a long while.
