Oh no, not another tire size thread!
Ok so I have read every thread across multiple Porsche Cayenne forums and still can't make a decision on custom wheels and tires. Most threads don't have pics also. I think it would be fun and helpful to show custom tire and wheel size options with pics. My problem is I want max tire width and max tire height. I am deciding on 20" or 22" wheels. Please post your wheel and tire sizes and a pic would be awesome! I hope some of you guys will participate. Thanks in advance!

This would be interesting for me also. The 06 TurboS stock wheels make it difficult to know what options will work and look good, other than custom forged wheels.

Rear 20" 10J 55 ET
275/40R 20 tires

I also have a set of 22x10.5 ET55 arriving in 2-3 weeks. Like you, trying to determine tire size. I've narrowed it down to either 285/35/22 or 295/30/22. The 285's are all all season and 295's are either Michelin or Vredstein. I really like the idea of the more sidewall, but I prefer Michelin tires. What are other folks running? I'm in NorCal and the runs are "ok".

Yea I am wondering if I give up some wheel size and go with 20's, if I can get a higher side wall and get maybe 295/45/20. Maybe a 40. A lot of the wheels I'm looking at come already with tires and balanced to your door. I can't screw it up. I also want my speedometer to be as close to accurate as possible.

There currently no 295/35/21 all season tires. It really is no a popular tire size. I read on another thread where someone was going to try 295/40/21 and see if it would work. There are all season tires for that size.
My wheels should be arriving in 2 weeks. I'm debating between 285/35/22 or 295/30/22. Probably the latter since Michelin only come in that size.

@ TurboSonly my friend I'm doing wheels this week but I can tell you that those cheap tires are not going to work for the cayenne! Its ok the deviate from the approved list only if you attempt to match the minimums. speed rating is Y could do w if you don't track it load is 106 to 107

I mean 21's. That's why they look good. Most wheels I am looking at do not come in 21. I think that is the perfect size.
