2013 C & C, Great Falls, VA - Katie's
For reference purposes, here's the link to the 2012 thread for Katie's Cars & Coffee, in Great Falls, VA -

The first Katies Cars & Coffee for 2013 was held today. Cold and clear, a good crowd showed up, with a good number of cars and people there by 7:00AM. It was 29F when I arrived at 6:15AM, and it got to 39F by the time I left at 9:00AM. Today was typical of the relatively smaller turnout during the winter, but the quality and variety was what we have come to expect.

Katie's, 01/12/13
It was a day of suprises.
It was supposed to be a warm morning, and it wasn't bad (42F at 6AM), but it started out very foggy, and did not warm up at all during the morning. When I arrived at Katie's at 6:15AM, only one car was already there - Mark Franke and his son Joseph had arrived before me in their Esprit.
The questionable weather situation caused people to dribble into Katie's all morning long. I saw several cars arriving, just as I left at 9:30AM.
My personal favorite surprise was Steve driving his rare Lotus Omega. Built in 1991, it was the fastest production 4-door in the world for several years.

I love seeing pictures from this meet every week. Since it's tough for me to make it most of the time, the picture updates make me feel almost like I was there. Thanks for always posting pictures, Bob.

Bob as always thanks for keeping us updated every week!
Do you happen to know the owner of the Cortina, my uncle back in London owned one just like that, still have memories of that car back in the 80s!

I do not know him, Mick, but Jeffrey E. does. Jeffrey drove the Esprit S4S Saturday, and he also has the green Elan Sprint, and the Lotus Cortina.
