V6??? I've got hear more about this... I was halfway ready to spend $100k+ on my next purchase (either a red BE GT-R, or R8), but this car looks awesome. I'm not thrilled about the smaller displacement (I may have to wait for a higher trim - i.e. - R or something, but at least it already supposedly is looking at a supercharger).

I believe the production car will be called the XE. There were speculations early on that the XER might be stuff the 5.0L V8 SC with 510HP that is currently on the XKR but if they want to stay around the curb weight of around 3,000lbs mark they might have to go with a V6 SC.....although Ian Callum didn't rule out a V8. We'll see what the final engine specs will be for the XE and XER once they're announced. Jaguar better go with a DCT to compete with its class. The torque converter tranny won't cut it with the competition these days.
Hopefully the prouction car would sound as good as the spy car in this video (frame 0:45 on):

Would be interested to see the final production car will be but at this time I'm moving away from Jaguar and hoping to move into a 991TT in 2 years.....crossing fingers.

I am knee deep into a possible R8 joining my stable, but I think that all just got put on hold.

Push to pass button... an extra 94HP and 173TQ.
It also comes with a "Connect and View" Function that allows either a Blackberry, Android, or iPhone to connect to the on-board display, and access basic functionality like music files, directories, make phone calls, GPS, etc...
The buttons themselves are OLED (organic LED) that light up to display certain features (such as desired seat temperature).
A mix of CF and suede lined interior...
My goodness. I think I found my next car. The only question now is - do I keep my '09 GT-R, or get a red Black Edition along with the Jaguar?

Finally, a Jag front end I actually like.
Gorgeous car, but I'm not a fan of cars that look so similar to another brand. Yes, I know about Mr Callum. I just wish he'd differentiate Jaguar a bit more.
