Jesus... that hurts.
I guess he had the 4-piper removed ... LOL

(...and the brake discs, the AMG rear and front bumper, AMG calipers etc.)

The silly thing is: That thing does not even have an Avantgarde or Elegance package installed. It's a basic "Classic" E-class... You can tell, because there's no chrome on the door handles.

That's most likely the cheapest E-class you can get with AMG, V8 Kompressor, E55 badges on. It DOES hurt!

that's just plain sad.

i don't like it when people dilute the name like that.

unfortunately i've seen maybe two other cars in the Los Angeles area that are fake E55's.

Seeing that AMG, now I know how people feel that don't know porsches, and see "GT2" on a cab - they don't really give a damn.

Reminds of the "Ferraros" or "Fieras" back in the day. Basically a cheesy Ferrari body kit on a Fiero.

I just have a red squiggle on mine, which I like It's Stephen's silhouette. Less is more he says Don't even have a badge on the front hood either. In fact, my car is a DSM with a Porsche body kit.

Amazing. Anyone who knows enough to care whether or not a car is an E55 (or GT2, or M5 etc. etc.) vs. it's lesser equipped brethren also knows enough to spot a fake. Anyone who can't tell the difference doesn't know or care enough to be "impressed" in the first place.
