That’s one way to sweeten a deal. If I was looking blow about €4 million on a chateau in the Netherlands, I’d probably want an additional little something-something too. Though, a brand new BMW i8 is not what I would’ve expected. A golf cart maybe, but not the cutting edge of BMW’s future line up.
Apparently, this isn’t terribly uncommon. Autoblog.nl also notes some other villas that have been sold with similar strategies. Another home they mention was sold along with a Ferrari 550 Maranello. Yet another was sold with a Lamborghini Gallardo tacked on.
The villa that comes along with your i8 is a super modern and stylish and quite well furnished. There’s not a single piece of Ikea furniture to be found. It’s former owner is the multi-millionare CEO of french clothing brand Oger. I can only assume that he’s left this villa in exchange for a castle and a hovercraft.
