Man Fists and Rides New Bugatti Chiron at the Nürburgring
In a world where everyone with a smartphone can easily upload content to the Internet in a heartbeat, it’s rare to see any world-exclusive news, but that’s exactly what we’ve got here regarding the new Bugatti Chiron.
The hilarious British folks over at, Car Throttle, were the very first automotive news outlet to fist the Chiron’s massive exhaust pipes, but more importantly, get a ride onboard the new hypercar. It was just any ride, though, it was a lap around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and they got it all on video.
The footage starts with a short interview with Wolfgang Dürheimer, the president of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S, and progresses to show the basic layout of the interior of the car, plus a run down of the performance controls mounted on the steering wheel of the Chiron.
Before they set off for the lap, Dürheimer makes a comment about putting the “pedal to the carbon,” which I found hilarious. Perhaps that gives us an insight at how insane this car is, that the old saying of putting the “pedal to the metal” doesn’t even apply anymore.
