The Dodge Viper TA is a beast of a car, as we found out earlier this year.

The new Ferrari is said to have a variation of the engine found in the California T, but tuned to somewhere in the 660 horsepower range. From these shots, it looks like the front of the car will retain much of the look of the regular 458, and not the bonkers Speciale.

Recently, our friends at BoldRide went to an event in Los Angeles called “Morning Octane.”

The car was rumored to be under consideration at Porsche, and was thought to use the same flat V8 the hybrid Hypercar 918 uses. However, this car’s engine would use a detuned, and sans the hybrid system version of that same V8.

There were nearly more Ferraris than facelifts on Rodeo Drive for the 60th Anniversary of Ferrari in America celebration. The sold out Ferrari F60 America took center stage and looked even sweeter in person though it was hard to get close to it due to the swirling, awestruck Beverly Hills crowd.
