Whether they accomplish all of that is up for debate, but they do manage to cut down on weight by about 70% on the outgoing parts.

The SP stands for “Special Program,” and the 12 presumably stands for “2012.” With the two-tone paint and b-pillar tweaks, it invokes the dead-sexy looks of the BB 512, and according to the YouTube description, it was originally supposed to sport a V12.
