Take a Ride on the New Ducati Scrambler
Today, we live an an alternate universe, a universe in which famed auto journalist Chris Harris ditches a steering wheel and grabs hold of the handle bars on a brand new Ducati Scrambler at the launch in Palm Springs, California. Yes, the newest episode of Chris Harris on Cars is actually Chris Harris on Motorcycles. Though he has minimal experience with bikes (he does own a Monster), Ducati fitted him with the proper branded Scrambler gear and sent him on his way.
After Harris rambles on about being a guy who reviews cars pretending to be a motorcycle journalist, actual information about the motorcycle starts at about 2:13. Beyond explaining that you shouldn’t get used to him riding bikes, as this is just a one-off, he does admit that he might “perfectly reflect the demographic of slightly sad middle-class loser who fancies expressing himself on two wheels that will buy one of these.” At least Harris’ snark didn’t change.
